Parks and Recreation

Janesville Parks and Recreation manages 64 parks spanning 2,590 acres of green space, making Janesville one of the most park-rich communities in the Midwest. The division operates recreation programs for all ages, manages pavilion and facility reservations, maintains trails (including the most in-city Ice Age National Scenic Trail miles of any Wisconsin community), and coordinates with the Rotary Botanical Gardens. The Riverside Park Golf Course provides a public 18-hole golf experience along the Rock River.
