Overview
The City of Janesville provides water, sewer, and refuse collection services billed quarterly. Pay online through the eGov portal, by phone at (608) 755-3080, by mail, or in person at the Clerk-Treasurer's office at 18 N. Jackson Street. Auto-pay enrollment is available for recurring payments.

Log in to the eGov online payment portal at cms.ci.janesville.wi.us.

Enter your account number (found on your quarterly bill) to view current charges.

Pay by credit card, debit card, or electronic check online.

To pay by phone, call (608) 755-3080 during business hours.

To pay in person, visit the Clerk-Treasurer's office at 18 N. Jackson Street, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

When are utility bills due?
Bills are issued quarterly and due approximately 20 days after the billing date. Due dates are printed on each bill.
Can I set up auto-pay?
Yes. Contact the Clerk-Treasurer's office at (608) 755-3080 or visit City Hall to enroll in automatic payment from your bank account.
What if I have a billing dispute?
Contact the Utility Billing division at (608) 755-3080. Staff can review your usage history and help resolve discrepancies.
