Housing assistance
The Housing Services division administers federal and state housing programs to support affordable housing, homeownership, and rental assistance for qualifying Janesville residents. Programs include Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded activities.
Lead paint program
Financial assistance may be available for qualifying homeowners to address lead-based paint hazards in homes built before 1978. Contact Housing Services for eligibility and application information.
Fair housing
The City of Janesville supports fair housing rights for all residents. If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, contact the Housing Services division or the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development Equal Rights Division.
